Agrégation d'anglais 2018

The Agrégation d'anglais is the French civil service exam that English majors take to be certified to teach English in French universities or high schools. This exam requires the study of set literary works by English-language authors, as well as humanities topics of importance to the English-speaking world. The Library's collection includes the set texts, often in multiple editions, books of critical analysis on the titles and their authors, and books relating to the civilisation topics. Search our online catalog by author, title and/or subject keyword to locate these items.

The Library's digital periodical databases also contain a wealth of critical articles, including literary criticism, historical surveys, articles of general interest, and topical news stories. These online resources are invaluable to not only students, but for teachers developing their course plans as well. Access to these databases is restricted to members of the Library.

Library members or day pass holders needing help logging into our digital databases or locating books in the stacks should contact the Reference Librarian or ask for assistance at the Member Services desk.
